Rachel Wood is a very talented potter from the UK, she recently completed a three month residency at Sturt in Mittagong; presenting her solo exhibition and teaching classes at their Winter School Workshops, her work is inspired by the Australian bush.

Rachel kindly showed us around her rich and colourful exhibition entitled “Sentient Ceramics” giving us insight into her work and answering our questions.

She very kindly joined us for lunch on the veranda afterwards and chatted further about her work and the places her work had taken her. One very inspiring lady indeed.
