In July we explored the wisdom and power of authentic connection and the importance of our human connection for developing healthy relationships.
At EWP, we value authentic connection and education that transforms. Researchers tell us that we are wired for connection, however most people live in fear of being seen for who they really are that they either pretend in order to fit into groups, community, and society or they isolate themselves from others, thus causing disconnection. As Brene Brown states: “Our innate need for connection makes the consequences of disconnection that much more real and dangerous.”
Tisiola shared her story of past struggles of trying to fit into groups and organisations and through pretending, almost lost herself. However, in discovering and experiencing the wisdom and power of authenticity saved her life and led her to develop EWP as a Transformative Learning Community that strongly values authentic connection.
